Utah County Childrens Photographer- Two boys and a train
Posted on February 28, 2010
After four days of snow we were lucky enough to have a warm day to take pictures. These two guys were so fun to photograph. So full of energy and so loving toward each other. I just love when brothers are close. I hope you like the preview!

Utah County Children Photographer – Trying to enjoy the snow
Posted on January 26, 2010
I had a fun photo shoot with my friend Shanda and her girls. It was freezing and our kids were pretty unruly. But we made it work. Now if winter would just end already so we can go out shooting more often

….and the winner is!
Posted on January 23, 2010
Thanks to everyone who entered! I went through the comments this morning and weeded out duplicates (where someone posted, then posted again saying, opps forgot to put the link in), also comments that weren’t entries, just pushes for someone to win. There were 25 entries plus one emailed in entry for a total of 26. The way the comments were numbered was just in the order they were posted.
I went to random.org and had it randomly choose a number 1-26 and the number it chose was 16!!!
The 16th comment from the top is…
CARA DAHLQUIST!
I will email you with details on how to redeem your session later today Cara! Congratulations
Everyone else who entered qualifies for a discounted session. Contact me to find out more!

Time Held

Photos are so incredible. They invoke so many emotions. They capture entire childhoods. They preserve memories. Photos are what we are left with when the rest is gone. Everything fades, but they keep us remembering.
I am so grateful for the ability to capture the every day moments of my children. I am so glad that I love to take pictures. Because I never want to forget what my boys look like at 3 1/2 and 5.

Free Session Give away!
Posted on January 8, 2010
To start the new year off right I decided its time for another session give away! The contest will start today and run through Friday January 22. The winner will be announced on January 23! This contest will work similar to my last contest. Those who aren’t familiar with my last contest I will go over the rules and how you enter.
To win the free session all you have to do is post about this contest and include a link on either your facebook page, blog, or twitter page. You can earn up to 3 entries per household by posting about the contest and including the link in all three places. Once you’ve posted about the contest, comment below leaving a link to where you posted about the contest, your name, your email address (so I can contact you if you’ve won), and a little bit about why you’d like to win (ie, haven’t had family pictures in a year, having a baby in March). You will need to enter a post for every outlet you used to talk about my contest. So if you posted it on your blog and facebook, you need to post them each individually. Each comment counts as one entry.
The winner will be picked at random by random.org on Jan 23!
So here is what is up for grabs is a free session which includes:
-one hour of shooting
-one location of your choice
-All the best images from the session (minimum of 15 and up to 40)
-copyright to print images as you’d like
-redeemable from March 1-May 30, 2009
-The free session is not transferable to anyone but the winning party
-Covers Family, newborn, maternity, children, and engagement photos (excludes weddings and event photography)
I think that is about it! If you have any questions please use the “contact me” to ask, not this post. Good luck!

This is my brother Josh and his family. I have been wanting to photograph them for so long. It finally worked out on a super cold day. These three kiddos were so cooperative and so dang photogenic. I just love um! Thanks again for coming out on such a cold day Josh and Nena, I hope you like your sneak peek!
